Title: Finance Business Partner
Location : Cheshire
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus
Client is a leading Financial Services organisation in the search for a strong Finance Business Partner, the role will support key stakeholders in providing a flexible resource across strategic initiatives and working on priority projects.
Role Requirements
* Microsoft Excel/Access skills
* Experience in multi-product European environment
* Big 4 accountancy experiences
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Stakeholder Management Skills
* Ability to prioritise
* Confident, ambitious and driven
Key Deliverables
* Ownership of the production of European gross margin by client and product for the monthly and annual forecasting process.
* To extract detailed data from internal databases into appropriate formats which aid the delivery of commercial insight and guidance for decision making
* Business partnering client and product managers providing challenge and support
* To deliver accurate and timely Management Information to internal and external stakeholders
* To deliver and support in ad hoc business requests
* Support monthly close process including margin calculation and also variance analysis
* Support year-end statutory reporting
* Establish and build relationships with internal stakeholders
* Establish and build relationships with the market facing teams to aid delivery of business plans
* Engage, grow and support the development of the FP&A team
Key Responsibilities
* Ownership for the delivery in year objectives aligned to required performance standards
* Influence, shape and execute solutions to realise objectives
* Effectively uses all resources to ensure optimisation of delivery
* Engages positively with stakeholders
* Constructively challenges drivers for change and takes ownership of change activity ensuring implementation is timely, to quality within budget and risks are mitigated.
* Identify PI/CI opportunities both embracing and encouraging change
* Ownership for the delivery and management of TCF initiatives to ensure fair customer outcomes
* Manage risks, including identification, mitigation and controls within department/ span of control
* Day to day management of systems and controls aligned to regulatory responsibilities
* Drive and support a compliant and customer centric culture
* Builds on capability and talent opportunities for all staff
* Drives delivery through the engagement of people and cross functional teams
* Engages employees by demonstrating company values and behaviours and ensuring key business messages are cascaded where relevant
