Project Coordinator – Career Transition / Outplacement, Based: Northampton, Salary c£22-25k + team bonus
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to work for a market leading provider of outplacement, career transition / development and organisational change services. The company supports organisations through periods of change (i.e. downsizing, restructuring) and provides outplacement support to individuals by way of career workshops, career coaching etc.
The purpose of the role is to provide the highest quality tailored project management support on multiple projects, providing advice and guidance to a variety of Stakeholders. Managing multiple projects to ensure resources and materials are deployed efficiently and that all project administration, contractual and delivery requirements are clearly agreed and understood at the outset. Responsible for ensuring that agreed targets and KPIs regarding commercial goals, project activity milestones and outcomes are achieved.
Key responsibilities:
- Make introductory calls to new and existing Clients to introduce the company’s project management services, establish administration requirements and secure commitment to proceed.
- Take responsibility for the delivery of each Clients project from initial contact through to service completion
- Plan workload effectively to ensure that all resources and tools are in place to deliver each project in accordance with agreed objectives and SLA’s
- Advise well in advance of anticipated increased workload and support delegation of tasks
- Ensure a seamless interface between the business development process and the delivery of project management services. Take personal responsibility for ensuring that all required project management information is obtained when necessary
- Act promptly regarding any sponsor or client complaints or queries, escalating as appropriate when unable to resolve personally
- Handle incoming calls / queries in a welcoming and approachable manner.
- Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure operational efficiency and service delivery consistent with agreed project and company SLA’s
- Meet personal KP’Is, targets, SLA and project deadlines as required
- Offer advice, guidance to Clients regarding delivery of specialist support when required
- Support Coach Events and Recruitment processes as required
Project Coordinator Candidate requirements:
- Highly people focused with first class communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to coordinate a number of tasks / projects at the same time
- Experience within a similar role i.e Project Coordinator, HR Administrator, Recruitment Consultant / Recruiter / Resourcer, Training Coordinator, Planner
- Any project management experience / qualifications would be an advantage.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office including Excel and other in-house systems, working with data to produce reports.
