Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator who will focus on their recruitment, onboarding and day to day compensation and benefits processes.

Within this role you will support the smooth running of the HR department by ensuring the Company is compliant, whilst providing a positive candidate and employee experience by delivering excellent customer service.

To achieve this, you will work in conjunction with the HR Training Administrator to ensure existing and new employees; as well as their managers, are supported and have the right tools to do their job. Your role will primarily support the recruitment and payroll activities of the wider HR team to ensure we attract and appoint the best people and ensure remuneration is correct. You will have a hand in raising the Company profile by advertising roles, so if you have a creative flair, you can support with the advert copy writing.

You will be joining a team, which supports both the industrial and non-industrial parts of the business, which spans across the whole of the UK, although you will based at their head office in Bristol.

You will be expected to learn the various contractual terms for the different employee groups as this will enable you to support the payroll process and challenge accordingly. Their payroll is outsourced to a shared service function and this will be a key stakeholder for you in your role.

This is a varied position, which will also expose you to all levels of the business across multiple functions completing tasks from payroll to pension administration, in addition to providing the data for analysis regarding absence, recruitment and employee benefits.

You will need to be adaptable to juggle your workload as well as being very efficient in excel to support with data inputting and spreadsheet creation. To hit the ground running you will need to have relevant previous experience within a HR department responsible for payroll and recruitment. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills being able to liaise with people from all levels of the business and work to manage internal customers' expectations of what can reasonably be required.

This is an administrative role and whilst you will be given exposure to case work, there is little scope for progression at this time.
