SEN/PMLD Primary Teacher Role

About the Role
In this SEN/PMLD Primary Teacher Role you will be teaching one of the classes within KS2 based on your skills, experience, and personal preference. The role will see you leading at a class with no more than 11 pupils and you will be fully supported by a team of exceptional teaching assistants who have an excellent appreciation of all the learners needs. The school are looking for a SEN/PMLD Primary Teacher who understands the requirements of working to a specialist curriculum that actively focusses on providing a learning environment where learners feel valued and their personal achievements celebrated.

The ideal SEN/PMLD Primary Teacher will have a versatile teaching approach and a reactive approach to teaching. For this role you must be an motivated and creative SEN/PMLD Primary Teacher who has been acknowledged as a 'Good' or better teacher out of observations and experience working with Special Educational Needs and 'English as an Additional Language' pupils. You should have the determination to stay sympathetic to the needs of low-functioning pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties and adapt to new situations while acting professionally in a busy special needs school.
