The people we serve are at the heart of all we do

Could you serve our people as a trustee? Do you have skills that would support our charity to continue to have a positive impact on people's lives? Do you want to make a difference?

We are a national charity, based in Darlington, helping people to lead fulfilling lives.

Our services support in excess of 600 people, with a range of needs, throughout Great Britain. Our model of care is pastoral and we continue to be inspired by the story of our founder Saint John of God who left us a legacy of value-based service to those most in need.

We are looking for a number of people who would wish to be part of our future. We are at a critical point in the charity's development and need people with a range of skills, time, energy and passion to join our board of trustees.

We particularly need people with:
* Up to date knowledge of the health and social care sector
* Commercial acumen/business experience
* A legal background
* Common sense

This list is not exclusive so if you have a skill set or a background that you feel would be of use to our charity, please do not hesitate to come forward.

Being a charity trustee is a voluntary position but we do cover all expenses incurred.
