Role: Embedded Software engineer (Linux)
Location: Bristol
Salary: GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 (dependant on experience)
I am seeking an embedded software engineer with embedded Linux Experience.
Your daily role:
Developing board support packages (BSP) for customers' custom hardware
Customising BSPs to provide additional functionality, e.g. software update, security, boot time, optimisation etc
Writing device drivers for bootloaders and the Linux kernel
Key skills required:
Experience in developing for embedded systems
Experience in Linux kernel and bootloader development
Experience in board-bring up
Experience in using opensource tools and the opensource community
Experience in distribution creators such as Yocto, Buildroot, LTIB
