Principal Teachers are seeking to recruit a Design Technology Teacher specialising in resistant materials and graphics on behalf of a secondary school in the Harrogate area. The school is seeking to appoint an innovative and inspiring DT Teacher on a full time basis from September. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching DT to KS3 and KS4 students and you must be able to show a passion for your subject. You will need to demonstrate excellent planning skills in order to cater to the needs of students with varying levels of abilities and ensure all students are given the opportunity to thrive. An ability to teach other DT aspects would be beneficial. Based in a rural area of Harrogate, the school is well regarded within the local community. The successful applicant will be required to deliver an exciting and creative curriculum to children in Years 7-11, taking GCSE classes, and motivate all students to achieve and develop essential life skills in DT. The school is well resourced and you will have access to excellent facilities and an experienced FTT faculty. Behaviour across the school is good and you will need to commit your efforts to upholding these high standards.
