The Role
One of the UK's most recognisable and established high street names are currently looking to recruit a Store Manager for their Bishop's Stortford shop. Reporting to the District Manager, you would be responsible for driving profitability and delivering the business objectives of the store through leading and developing a team that provides outstanding customer service and possesses exceptional selling skills.

As the senior member of staff at the store you would be responsible for…
o Recruiting, developing and motivating a high calibre team
o Promoting a high standard of visual merchandising throughout the store
o Managing Health & Safety issues
o Developing and implementing loss prevention controls
o Ensuring compliance with up to date retail and employment legislation

The Candidate
o Previous retail management experience within a high street retail and customer service environment.
o Strong leadership and coaching skills plus excellent sales ability and commercial acumen.
o A versatile and flexible individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
o Excellent organisational skills and multi-tasking ability
o Creative and able to demonstrate excellent visual merchandising skills and the ability to shape a store around delivering a first class customer journey.
