Are you an experienced professional with a keen interest in Water Supply? At Southern Water we are currently recruiting for a Water Supply Process Operator who will be based in Patcham.
Your main accountabilities will include:
• To carry out and report on a range of front line operational routine and reactive activities in time, to ensure the smooth operation of water supply works in line with quantity and quality, regulatory and business standards.
• Front line maintenance, fault-finding, housekeeping and the operation of plant associated with the water supply processes.
• Monitoring, collating and reporting of data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance is met.
Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will also need to be prepared to work within the company's rota of 7 day working week and participate on a stand by rota.
Experience and Skills:
To be successful in this role you will need to have the ability to work well within a team as well as to be able to work unsupervised. You must be reliable and flexible, as well as hold a full clean driving licence.
To be considered for this role you should have previous experience within a similar role. Knowledge of relevant water supply processes would be strong advantage.
