Sales Account Manager Role overview:
As a Sales Account Manager at you will be responsible for both recruiting new merchants for our different price comparison platforms and generating incremental revenue from your portfolio of accounts. You will be responsible for the whole customer life cycle – from generating the lead to closing the deal - and ensure that the merchants are developing their presence on our websites and throughout our network of publishers.
Day to day duties will include cold calling, issuing proposals, following up on these proposals, face to face meetings with clients when necessary and closing deals.
Previous Experience/Skills required:
+ Minimum 2 years experience in B2B Sales.
+ eCommerce preferred but not compulsory
Person Specification/Competencies:
+ Commercially minded
+ Strong ability to communicate, present and to sell at every level
+ Good negotiation skills and ability to close deals quickly
+ Excellent customer relationship management and interpersonal skills
+ Team player with strong work ethic and ability to drive and adapt to changes
+ Strategic and analytical thinker at a detailed level
+ Able to deliver at a consistently high level in a demanding commercial environment
+ Able to manage conflict in a positive and assertive manner for the best outcome
+ Displays respect to all colleagues and encourages this behaviour in own team
Academic Background:
+ Strong academic background preferred
Salary and benefits:
£28,000 - £30,000 DOE, plus commission, pension and benefits
