JavaScript Mobile Developer

Ideagen is currently looking for JavaScript Mobile Developers to join our Software Development team based at our head office in Nottingham. We are looking to expand our Mobile Team who design and build our cross platform (iOS, Android and Windows) mobile apps. Our newly formed Mobile team are a key part of our Development Team who work in an Agile environment, to design and deliver cloud-based software solutions that help our international customer base model, manage and drive operational excellence. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering the next generation of products which are of key strategic importance to the future of the business. You will get exposure to new technology and be closely involved with the architecture and design of our products. There will be opportunity for personal growth and input into the direction of the products. You will also have a clear progression plan and learning will take place both on the job and through an extensive training programme covering a range of areas. You'll also have the opportunity to develop and grow your skills within your specific area of expertise. Key responsibilities: - Be working with our in house designers to create modern, mobile UIs. - Develop cross platform apps using the Titanium framework. - Support the apps throughout Test process. - Provide technical design input to the team and technical leadership for the proposed component. To be considered for this position, you must have: - A Software/Computer Science/IT or related degree - Strong experience in OO JavaScript - A solid understanding of OO and design patterns, specifically MVC - A passion for developing well designed, high quality and intuitive mobile apps - A willingness to learn new technologies and skills - The motivation and drive to meet team goals and objectives - Developing native mobile applications using Titanium or similar platforms (PhoneGap) - Experience of developing software in a commercial environment - Backbone or similar frameworks - Integrating or developing APIs What's in it for you?
