The EMEA Trade Group is responsible for handling a variety of Commercial Trade products for EMEA on behalf of their Corporate Clients, Branches, and other Financial Institutions. This servicing role is created to support existing and new Clients with their Commercial Trade Products across the EMEA Branch network.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? (Responsibilities)

The Client Servicing Team currently consists of 3 associates. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can join the existing team and perform a variety of technical and analytical functions relating to Trade finance and Client servicing ensuring we deliver a first class experience foremost to our Clients but also internal business partners.

Responsibilities will also include (once trained) monthly MIS and Client reporting to ensure we are delivering the appropriate service to current Bank and Departmental standards researching, analysing, and resolving Commercial Trade document enquiries which may require specialized, sensitive, and/or exception handling; evaluating acceptances, issuances, amendments, and negotiation for import/export, standby and government letters of credit. Requires a full working knowledge of both complex and traditional Trade finance operations and documentation.

This is a Client Servicing role and therefore constant client contact via phone and e-mail occurs throughout the day as will logging client calls and e-mails received.

Our processing Team in India also play a major part in day to day transaction processing, it is paramount to our success that regular contact is maintained with this Team to ensure Client satisfaction is achieved.

SKILLS WE LOOK FOR

Essential Skills

  • Current In-depth Trade Finance experience
  • Previous experience in a Client Service Team preferably from a top tier Financial Institute
  • A good and up to date knowledge of relevant Trade ICC publications
  • A good understanding and knowledge of UCP, URDG, ISBP, ISP, AML and KYC
  • Must have strong attention to detail, must be accurate and precise.
  • Strong Customer Service skills preferably with experience managing queries from global clients.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks eg logging client contact and query details etc
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Nice to have

  • Good working knowledge of GBS.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to train different audiences.
  • European Language
