Qualified Social Worker - Children Looked After Team - Stable Contract
We are looking for an experience children's social worker to take on a unique specialist role in either Taunton or Yeovil for our client. If you have experience with looked after children and would like to put your expertise to the test this role if perfect for you.
This locum contract will have you feeling challenged as valued as you help the authorities LAC team get back on its feet. The authorities have a firm plan in place for 2017 and wish yo bring in interim staff to help them achieve this.
As a specialist social worker you will be:
- Taking on the most complex LAC cases
- Supporting and mentoring more junior members of your team
- Taking a lead within reviews
The case loads are stable between 12-16 and it always remains at this figure.

Rates and mileage are very competitive and you will be paid GBP35 an hour (Umbrella) and also 45p a mile towards your work mileage.
