The Royal School for the Blind, Liverpool offers educational placements for children with visual impairments and complex needs.  Placements at the school are for both day and residential children. 

It is the aim of the School to provide the highest educational and care opportunities for all our children.

SCHOOL MINIBUS DRIVER (plus 1 x Reserve)

Dates: ASAP

Salary: NJC SCP 6 (£15014 pro rata)

Location: Church Road North, Wavertree, Liverpool L15 6TQ

Contract type: Part time (15 hours per week)

Contract term: Permanent, Term time only (38 weeks)

Working pattern: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 9.00am, 3.30pm – 5.00pm

Friday - 7.30am – 9.00am, 12.30pm – 2pm

We are seeking to appoint a candidate with a clean D1 driving license and at least 5 years driving experience. This position would be suitable for a reliable, responsible driver with a courteous manner. You should have a caring nature, be outgoing, non-judgmental and an ability to work as a team.

A Reserve driver, would be expected to step into the role of Minibus Driver at relatively short notice, to cover absence or for additional needs.
