The Poultry Division is the largest end-of-lay Hen processing operator in the UK, processing to meet the very highest welfare standards required by our customers and the RSPCA. The site is Freedom Foods approved and BRC AA grade.

The Role:
As the Engineer / Engineering Team Leader Nights, you’ll lead a small team of night shift Engineers to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the plant and equipment at our site in Gainsborough.
Specifically, you will:
- Motivate and guide your team to perform to the best of their ability
- Ensure that planned preventative maintenance activities are carried out in a timely manner
- Establish priorities and direct engineering activities on-site, including any external contractors
- Make sure that production breakdowns are responded to quickly
- Work closely with the Hygiene Manager
About You:
To join this determined team, you will need:
- An electrical bias
- A 17th Edition qualification in Electrical Inspection and Testing
- Mechanical knowledge
Experience within a poultry production or fast-moving food manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Previous experience of designing and manufacturing electrical control panels and experience of PLC software and fault-finding techniques would also be advantageous, as would knowledge of industrial control and motor control circuits, including inverter drives.
Supervisory/leading hand experience would be equally favourable, as would experience of installing new equipment and circuits and previous experience of PPM systems.
We’re keen to hear from candidates with experience as an Engineer, Engineering Team Leader, Electrical Engineering Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Maintenance Manager or Senior Engineer.

This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week with overtime if required. The hours of work cover Sunday night through to Friday night - 18:00 - 6:30, on 8:30 hour staggered shifts.
