Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 + Excellent Benefits

One of the world's leading manufacturers of food products is currently looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Project Engineer at their Somercotes production facility, near Alfreton, Derbyshire. The Role
Working closely alongside both the Maintenance Manager and Project Engineering Manager, you would be tasked with planning and delivering project based solutions across the Somercotes production site, from initial concept through to completion, including assessment, contractor supervision and handover. You will be expected to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and uploaded onto a planned maintenance system. Also providing training on newly installed equipment to the Operational and Maintenance teams and ensuring new equipment information is readily available across the facility.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a background working as a Project Engineer on projects large and small, ideally within the food manufacturing or related industry (pharmaceutical, chemical, processing etc.). You'll also be educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Food Processing or similar.You must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of civils, process equipment, and production lines, while proficiency in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD LT plus the ability to produce P & IDs will be required.

You will possess excellent organisational skills combined with an enthusiasm for solving problems and taking on new challenges. Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels will also be required, as will excellent attention to detail and the drive to consistently achieve results.
