£22,985 - £27,208 (dependent on experience)

Bolton College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and technically competent Report Writer. You will be part of a team responsible for managing and collating information for College staff and external agencies, from a range of systems. You will perform a key role in supporting data management within the College by creating reports and extracting information and in supporting others in the development of systems around the organisation.

The successful candidate will have appropriate qualifications and relevant experience in data management processes, writing queries and producing reports from information systems. A good working knowledge and experience of using Oracle SQL, SQL Server and Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) is essential. This will be required to be demonstrated as part of the interview and assessment process.

Working experience of SQL Server Integrations Services (SSIS) may also be advantageous, although not essential, as would an understanding of further/higher education sectors data and funding requirements.

You will be working in a fast paced environment, so an ability to organise and prioritise workload at busy times will be essential. Excellent interpersonal skills are also required as you will be working with people with a range of technical understanding.
