An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Developer to work in the College’s Information Learning Technology Team. The team provides a broad range of online services which benefit learners and teachers across the College.
The successful applicant will help support the development and day-to-day maintenance of a wide range of online services; including Moodle, the College’s Virtual Learning Environment; and the College’s suite of learning analytics products. Experience of MySQL and PHP is essential.
We are a leading Further Education College in the use of learning analytics, adaptive learning, supervised machine learning and natural language processing. We actively support and encourage team members to research new and emerging technologies to support learners and teachers. Plans are also underway for the College to merge with Bolton University in 2018, so there will be opportunities to widen the scope of work in the near future.
