- Translate customers' needs into effective technology services and products, managing the lifecycle and data quality of the inventory
- Maintain a strong, reliable and trusted advisory role to business partners, whilst fostering relationships with Account Managers and Service and Product Managers
- Take a lead on defining the strategic product and location roadmaps, ensuring they align with business demands and technology targets
- Work in collaboration with Group Technology teams to resolve product issues and help to promote valuable and cost-effective product deliveries, in line with the agreed strategies
- Ensure products are compliant with operational, security and risk frameworks, minimal enterprise requirements, and any other group obligations
- Build strong and effective third party vendor relationships and take ownership of contracts
- Carefully monitor and control direct and total costs of software products, helping to improve transparency and reach financial targets, KPIs and SLAs

Your team
You'll be working as part of the Service - Product Management, Wealth Management Europe - Emerging Markets (EEM) IT team, based in Zurich or London. As SPMs, we hold a key strategic position and have a Global influence, with responsibility for IT services and products across the UK, Jersey, Italy, France, Monaco, Spain Luxembourg, Mexico, Brazil and Israel.
Our team is truly collaborative and dynamic, we work with: the business (central and regional), account managers, delivery teams, local IT teams, architects, Global Production Support, Technology Services, third party vendors, and other SPMs to achieve shared goals.
Your experience and skills
You have:
- at least 7 years of experience working in IT projects and/or product management, vendor and contract management
- an understanding of how to balance business requirements alongside the challenges of evolving IT
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt, interact and collaborate with a variety of global customers and suppliers across different cultures
- strong written and spoken English; with Spanish, Italian, French or German being advantageous
You are:
- a technically savvy team player with an eye for detail and a strategic outlook
- adaptable and able to work across teams, whilst ensuring that demands are fulfilled
- proactive and solution focused
- hard working and well organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- a strong communicator who can manage expectations and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- an influential individual, who confidently challenges the status quo through strong negotiation skills and a solid technical base
- Able to remain resilient and use initiative when tackling challenges
