GCS IT Service and Product Manager (SPM)

• Own your own portfolio of applications and manage run cost such as maintenance, software licenses and manage respective risks and lifecycle planning together with internal expert functions (Global Production Support, Application Delivery, Risk and Architecture)
• Gather demand and requirements from internal clients and stakeholder and help other IT teams to determine required IT solutions
• Provide technical support and leadership to the GCS IT solutions in London and globally. Strong technical implementation experience required integrating vendor packages within the UBS environment
• Support project managers to plan resourcing, cost and change implementation planning
• Liaise with Global Production Support as required in case of e.g. incidents which require stakeholder communication
• Establish and maintain regular stakeholder communications for demand planning and change implementation jointly with the Application Delivery Team and or Projects
• Be part of an open minded international team
• Drive strategic product development together with clients and architects (Product Strategy

Your team
You'll be working in the GCS IT team in UBS London. We are a small international team with branches in Weehawken, London, Switzerland and Poland and oversee a portfolio of more than 200 UBS applications covering Finance Cost Accounting, Communication and Branding, Group Corporate Services, Operations and Data and Process Modelling. We offer an interesting international role in a key area of Group Technology with close interaction to multiple business stakeholders.
Your experience and skills
You are:
• Used to work with multiple applications and are interested to understand f2b dependencies
• A technical background/skills e.g software engineering, software architect or similar role. This will include experience in Java / Oracle DB / SAP technologies but also in integrating cloud technologies
• Able to translate business requirements into an IT language and support IT analysts to write specifications and finally develop robust solutions (you know what they really want)
• Equally interested in financials as in technology and work process management
• Adaptable, able to work across teams and functions. Strong stakeholder manager and somebody able to collaborate easily with other teams
• Fluent in English
