Head Waiter/ess - Hotel and Spa Operation-North Cornwall

My client, an award winning luxury and stunning hotel and spa operation based in North Cornwall is looking for an experienced HEAD WAITER/ESS t o assist the current RESTAURANT MANAGER in this award winning restaurant with stunning views over the ocean. Ideally, you would have exposure working in 1 or 2 AA rosette standard restaurants AT A SUPERVISORY LEVEL FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS Main responsibilities as HEAD WAITER/ESS will include: * Supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day to day running and co-ordination of the restaurant including administrative tasks. * Providing a high standard of service to both customers and staff * Maintaining excellent guest relations and exceeding expectations * Stock management and control * Supervision and development of all restaurant personnel * Development of revenue and expenses plans to maximize sales and profitability Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant supervision/management is essential as is a proven track record of dealing with guest issues in a courteous and helpful manner. You need to be able to express yourself clearly, diplomatically and within reason and have fantastic communication skills. My client is looking for a proactive HEAD WAITER/ESS to join their team who can hit the ground running armed with a wealth of knowledge. They will be expected to provide and implement a 4* level of service and be able to train their team to the same high standard.
