Programme Lead. Law. 22.2 hours per week. Permanent.

We are one of the largest Further Education Colleges in the UK with more than 22,000 learners studying with us on a wide range of courses. Our mission is to equip people with the skills they need to be successful in education, in work and business and in their personal lives.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Programme Lead with experience and knowledge of the legal industry to join our professional team working at St Margaret's campus and the City Skills Centre.  With a focus on delivering CILEx at both level 3 and level 6, we are looking for an individual with the ability to teach a range of legal subjects and the ability to teach practice subjects would be an advantage.  Although the positions is part time, as the curriculum grows and expands, there is likely to be an opportunity to increase to full time in the future.

Teaching commitment may include Law for Business or other sectors.

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who promotes exciting learning experiences as well as being student centred and committed to providing support to 16-18 year olds on study programmes as well as adults and apprentices studying professional qualifications.  You will be responsible for quality of provision on the programme which will require liaison with industry partners and employers, particularly concerning professional practice content.  We can only accept applications from applicants who hold a 'qualifying' law degree - as this is a requirement of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and ideally, you will already hold a teaching qualification.
