DevOps Engineer, Swindon, GBP55,000

On a day to day basis, you will be getting stuck in to some cool and ever changing projects. Your role will be ever changing and no day will be the same. You will be building and configuring new platforms, getting stuck in to applications to make sure that they are ok for release (yes, this will mean you will be working with some devs too in an agile environment!) and coming up with new ideas as to what technologies to use moving forward.
This is a role where you will be encouraged to think for yourself as well as share your knowledge with other people in the organisation. You won't just be giving away your knowledge either, you will be given the chance to absorb new skills, whether those are in databases, the cloud or other areas.
If you love the sound of this role, you will have some (or all) of the following knowledge -
* Experience as a Linux/Unix Systems Administrator, or a similar role like a Linux/Unix Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer or in a Senior Linux/Unix Support role.
* A love of the cloud.
* Good understanding of Automation tools.
* Understanding of networks.
* Some scripting experience.
* Most importantly, a passion for Open Source technologies.
