Excellent opportunity for a Microstation 3D Technician to join a Civil and Structural Design services provider on an initial 3 month contact in Surrey. Our client provides a range of multi-disciplinary services to support all stages of a project. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience working in sectors from Rail and Marine, to Education and Commercial. Due to an increasing workload, they are seeking a Microstation 3D Technician to join their expert team and assist with an array of major projects across the UK.
The selected candidate will have a variety of roles and responsibilities, including:
- Producing CAD drawings, details and schedules
- Document management in-line with company procedures
- Preparing and developing existing models and drawings
Essential skills, experience and attributes:
- Experience within a similar position
- Excellent knowledge on Microstation 3D and other relevant CAD software
- Good technical and IT abilities, including experience of Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and codes of practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines
- Experience with in the rail sector would be desirable
