Axis is currently recruiting for a lift Sales Consultant to work from their Andover office, in their New Equipment Department.

This is a new business role and as Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for developing a customer base and brand awareness across the South, attracting new equipment customers, ensuring profits and margins are maximised at all times. You will be selling a new product being introduced into the ELA portfolio and will be looking to gain volume sales across the region.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have experience within the lift industry, either as a professional sales person or as a technical expert looking for their first step into sales. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with people at all levels. You will be target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organisation and be well versed at multi-tasking a deadline driven workload to ensure that the customer has any day-to-day issues resolved effectively and that all sales, KPI and revenue targets are achieved.

Key tasks will include developing a sales strategy including sales pipeline forecasting, achieving sales targets and developing new customers via cold calling, networking, bids and tenders. With your desire to win new business you will continually seek to increase and improve bid opportunities and conversion rates.
