Customer Service Administrator / Technical support - Langport - GBP17-19k

My client is an award winning and innovative manufacturing company based near the Langport / Yeovil area in the heart of Somerset. They design and manufacture mechanical products for the automotive and care industries and are now looking to recruit a day based Customer Service Administrator / Technical support person. The primary role within the company will be to co-ordinate all the service and repair functions for all of their products in the field and any other product ranges that the company sells. This will entail taking calls from either their own customers or end users and then taking the appropriate action whilst recording details. There is also a requirement to cover the role of Sales Advisor in the absence of colleagues, and you will be the first point of contact for customers for orders, quotations and other queries. This is an ever evolving role

The Customer Service Advisor / Customer Care / Technical support / Help desk role will include:

??Handling all incoming breakdown, service and repair requests for all products
??Controlling and monitoring the assignment of service engineers to call, internal staff or external suppliers
??Ensuing all service related paperwork is completed and recorded within a defined procedure
??Process purchase orders and invoices
??Ensure Quality issues are passed to the correct departments Ensure CRM Support cases are being raised on all service requests.

When covering for the sales advisor you will be expected to take customer orders and quotations received by phone, accurately inputting them on the system, acknowledging them and seeing them through to completion. You will also be expected to liaise with the customers and internal departments

The successful person MUST:

- Have excellent phone and computer based customer service experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a light engineering market
- Ability to understand and embrace new technology and to take on and understand new products
