Senior Test Engineer | Electronics | Mechanical | Embedded
Reqiva are currently seeking an Environmental Test Engineer to work for an internationally renowned manufacturer of single board computers.
The main focus of this role is the preparation of product test systems, planning an executing tests (In house and sometimes external) and documenting and reporting on the tests performed.
Tests can involve environmental tests such as shock and vibration, temperature and EMC compliance, humidity and pressure testing. Some of the testing will require travel to customer site so the successful candidate will need to be able to travel every now and then.
This role will require an experienced Test Engineer as you will be responsible for a more Junior member of the test team and potentially growing the team further in the future.
The role will involve
*Preparation of representative test systems including determining a suitable chassis, back-plane, test fixture and other connectivity to allow the products to test continuously
*Use of functional test software, with the ability to modify test scripts and read log file results.
*Maintaining accurate and correct test results
Qualifications
*Relevant qualifications to degree or HND level
*Experience within a similar functional or environmental test domain
*Build, configuration and test of computer systems
*Installation and configuration of windows and Linux operating systems and drivers
*Experience of team or project leadership
