Sales Manager - Roof Tiles / Roof Systems
Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Roof Tiles / Roof Systems
Job reference Number: J18663
Area to be covered: North Yorkshire (North up to and including Middlesbrough)
Remuneration: GBP30,000 - GBP36,000 (Depending on Experience) + 10% Bonus
Benefits: Car Allowance GBP7.8k p/annum, Pension, Healthcare, Mobile, Laptop
ROLE:
Responsible for sales of concrete, clay and slate roof tiles, membranes, ventilation and associated roofing accessories
60% of your time will be spent driving specifications with architects, housebuilders, local authorities, housing associations and main contractors
Remaining 40% of time spent managing relationships with National & Independent Building / Roofing merchants, buying groups and roofing contractors
Taking over a mature / successful territory achieving around GBP2million turnover per annum
Inheriting approximately 100 live accounts
Securing Residential and Commercial projects ranging from GBP15k - GBP500k per annum up to GBP1million for large major projects
Regular reporting in to the office using the CRM system
EXPERIENCE:
*Proven track record in Specification based sales and understanding of the specification sales process
*Ideally experienced in sales of any heavyside / lightside building products such as: roofing, cladding, insulation, plasterboard, building boards, roooflights, roof access, roof membrane, hard landscaping, tiles or any building product
*Consultative / technically based sales approach
*Genuine desire to progress within your career with a stable career track record
*'get up and go', hungry, driven and self-motivated personality
*IT literate and excellent written / verbal communication skills
