Test Engineer - Chester

Test Engineer / Automation Testing / Selenium Webdriver / Cucumber / API / RESTful API / SOAPUI / PHP / Java / C# / Python / Ruby / My world leading client is undergoing a huge phase of growth and is looking to hire an automation tester. They are looking for someone to join their close-knit testing team to help drive forward their automation function. This is a great opportunity to take ownership over testing practises and methods and really shape the test automation here. They are looking for an experienced tester to join their expanding team on a permanent basis and looking to offer a salary in the region of GBP35,000-GBP45,000. You will be working closely with the development team in a fast-paced agile environment to help deliver projects on time. This will become a highly technical testing role so a good foundation in testing is a must. They are happy to train certain aspects of test automation but some prior experience is needed.The successful automation tester will have the following skills: Selenium/Cucumber - Ability to maintain and build upon existing frameworksBack-end API experienceSOAP/RESTfulExposure to coding - PHP, Java, C#, Python (We're open to languages)Agile experience This is the perfect role for anyone who has commercial automation testing experience and is looking for a new challenging role.
