Media and Data Rights Project Manager

THE ROLE:
- Reporting into the Commercial Director, the Media & Data Rights Project Manager will also support the Media Rights Consultant and the Media Rights Lawyer as Ascot reviews it's strategy on Media & Data Rights for the future. This is an initial six month fixed term position to support a key strategic priority for the business.
- Ascot is undertaking a review of the current media and data rights management and contractual positions, and as the Project Manager you will co-ordinate and support the day to day running of the project.
- You will manage a complete review of the current project management system, as well as running the day to day administration of all documents and reference.
- You will be responsible for arranging, attending, and co-ordinating all internal and external meetings relating to the project as well as writing all the meeting reports and actions including drafting board reports and communications materials.
- Your role may involve researching market options for each media and data right stream with our external consultants as well as finishing initial research on Ascot's archive position as part of the review.
- You will be collating all of the information on the possibility of Ascot undertaking control of on-site television production and summarising the options, including a review of Ascot TV as part of this process.
- You will be working with stakeholders within the company regarding legal options for contracting with prospective parties as well as the development of revenue models.
IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE ROLE:
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent Project management knowledge, with experience in writing minutes and reports to a high standard.
The successful candidate should have the ability to understand legal contracts, media right definitions, as well as being able to summarise and explain information effectively.
