Salary: £19,894 per annum following successful 6-month probationary period

 

Permanent - 37.5 hours per week

 

A leading social housing provider is currently advertising for a Complex Case Worker based in Ashton under Lyne.

 

This is a great opportunity for a Complex Case Worker within their Tameside Project which provides a service for homeless people at risk of social exclusion. The service, Unlocking Potential, aims to deliver a flexible and innovative approach to reduce and prevent homelessness in Tameside focusing on recovery capital and skills based approaches rather than traditional support methods.

 

The main purpose of the Complex Case Worker role is to provide housing related support to vulnerable and socially excluded people who present with complex needs, by developing a tailored multi agency person centred independence plan enabling them to develop the skills required to maintain their tenancies, establish themselves in the community and lead an independent life focused on recovery.

 

To be successful as a Complex Case Worker you will have experience of working with people with complex needs in a support/caseworker capacity; have the ability to develop person centred independence plans and the ability to engage and work with partners in a multi-agency approach. You will also need to be motivated with good communication skills and a commitment to achieve positive outcomes; proven IT skills together with good organisation skills.
