Fire & Security Install Engineer - Bristol
Due to continued success, Alecto are working on behalf of a reputable and well established Fire and Security company based in Bristol, now seeking an individual to work as part of their installation team.
This NSI Gold and BAFE accredited company offer a variety of solutions including Installation, Service and repair of Fire alarms, Intruder alarms, Access Control and CCTV, operating throughout Bristol, Avon and surrounding counties.
The Role:
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the 1sta and 2nd fix installations of a variety of Security systems including: Intruder Alarms, IP CCTV, Access Control, Audio Entry and more.
Fire alarm experience is preferable although not essential, and training will be provided for engineers showing strong skills on most disciplines, if not all.
An engineer with good Installation and Commissioning skills would be desirable.
The Candidate:
To be considered for this role, you must have a 'can do' attitude and flexible approach to work.
Displaying initiative and desire to adopting new methods of working, you will be expected to not only perform on a technical level, but also show a good understanding and appreciation of customer service, collaboration, and accuracy with completion of paperwork and meeting deadlines.
Duties will also include the Installation, 1st and 2nd fix of security and fire systems, therefore you must be able to demonstrate good working knowledge on the following;
Intruder Alarms; Galaxy and Texecom
CCTV; Bosch (training provided), Honeywell, Maxpro
Access Control; Paxton, PAC, TDSI
Fire; Sentry, Advanced, Morley, Kentex.
The Package:
- Annual Salary - GBP26,000 - GBP32,000 per annum
- Standby - Overtime and Call out paid at preferential rates
- OTE - GBP35,000+ per annum
- Company Van
- 25 days holiday
- All tools provided
