Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Performance Analyst for our team in Taunton, working 37.5 hours a week.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining the team as a Performance Analyst, you will provide management information, reporting, and technical support to enable the collection, treatment and disposal of leachate to be optimised for regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities include:

• To provide technical, operational and project management support
• To produce and deliver management data and reports to assist in managing the environmental/compliance risk profile relating to leachate emissions
• To work closely with operational delivery teams to develop, produce and deliver management information and reporting to drive the optimum performance of the leachate function
• To review asset and process performance through analysis of condition based monitoring
• To assist in developing and maintaining of operational processes and procedures for the management of leachate, and integrate these into the Business Management System.
• To be responsible for the production of water balance / leachate production modelling, leachate quality modelling and other forecasts for the Landfill Energy portfolio
• To assist in the identification and provision of management information on required upgrades and expansion of existing systems
• To develop close working relationships with colleagues in the Technical Support, Landfill and Aftercare and Power Generation teams to ensure that leachate management costs and environmental risks are minimised,
• Monitor and review emerging techniques, best practice, technical developments and engineering practices, providing management data as necessary.

The ideal Performance Analyst will have:

• Environmental modelling including LandSim / GasSim etc.
• Extensive knowledge of data management and interpretation techniques, and knowledge of environmental data analysis software
• Proven track record of analysing asset and process data, and KPIs, to optimise performance
• Experience of using CMMS / SCADA to monitor and optimise asset performance
• Experience of client / stakeholder management
• Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or qualified by extensive experience
• Full driving licence
