Role
- Reporting to the Head of Investment Sales, and sits within the Business Development team
- Implementing the firm's business development for all the Company's products & services in the agreed, specified sales area in the South West
Responsibilities
- To have responsibility for the development and implementation of the firm's business development objectives, primarily measured by sales, in the South West
- To establish new business relationships with professional introducers, especially financial advisers, throughout the South West
- To take prime responsibility for maintaining and servicing the company's existing and established relationships with professional introducers in the South West
- To maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the company's investment process, strategy and views so as to be able effectively to articulate and advocate them externally
- To ensure that an electronic database of all contacts (both firms and individuals) with existing and potential business introducers is maintained to record the substance of meetings and other contact with them
Personal Specifications
- Educated at least to 'A' level standard (including GCSE English and Maths - at least grade B)
- Attained or working towards an appropriate industry qualification in either financial advice/planning or investment or equivalent
- At least 10 years' experience in the Financial Services industry
- Excellent inter-personal and communications skills
- Wide and well-established contacts among professional introducers
- Up to date knowledge of markets, asset-classes, and stocks/ funds
- Demonstrably successful track record as a business developer in the Financial Services industry
