Risk Modelling Manager
Milton Keynes
£45000 - £60000 per annum + Car + Annual Bonus + Pension
My client is an internationally renowned name providing an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join their team as Credit Risk Modelling Manager.
The role is based in Milton Keynes and will be working within a small team of 6 driven risk and analytics professionals. Reporting into the Head of Forecasting and Modelling you will have regular access to senior stakeholders engaging on a wide range of projects.
The role:
* Take ownership of the operation and development of provisioning models, ensuring annual redevelopment and/or validation of risk models.
* Extract data from key data sources, analysing and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
* Develop understanding of where emergent risks to the company's portfolios may come from and how best to combat these.
* Ensure that provisioning and forecasting elements are compliant with current financial services regulation.
Requirements:
* Experience in Retail banking and/or Auto-finance.
* Experience of hands on work developing and or/monitoring risk models.
* Ability to present complicated information succinctly to senior stakeholders.
* Degree in a numerically related subject.
* Working knowledge of systems and software such as: SAS, SAP, SQL, CMS, Tableau.
