Information about the school
The Folkestone School for Girls is an outstanding school where excellence is encouraged.
It is an 11-18 selective girls' grammar school with approximately 1100 students, including 250 in the sixth form.
It has a long history of excellent examination results.
In the GCSE league tables in 2013 it was placed first in Kent out of c125 secondary schools and 10th in the country.
