Our customer is a worldwide information technology company that provide a portfolio of IT services, software, and technology that solves critical problems for financial clients. The business is currently growing, so they are seeking a Solutions Architect to join them on a permanent basis as they embark on a new and exciting journey.

ROLE: Solutions Architect
SALARY: Competitive depending on experience + benefits
LOCATION: Milton Keynes or Leeds, easily commutable from: Aylesbury, Luton, Bedford, Buckingham, Banbury, Northampton, Bedford, Huddersfield, Harrogate, York, Doncaster, Wakefield, Bradford, Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley.

As the Solution Architect you will be involved in the full life cycle of the client implementation, including the pre-sales stages. You will gather requirements and understand the customers current environment and how the new solutions would fit into that, identifying areas of potential benefit and areas of potential conflict.

Once the project is initiated the Solution Architect will work closely with various technical and non-technical teams, both internally and externally on the design stage identifying the best ways to integrate the new technology within the customers environment.

You will support the Implementation team through the build and integration acting as subject matter expert and you will play a key part in the go live process and perhaps the early hyper care. Once this is complete The Solution Architect will be responsible for clear documentation of the solution to ensure a clean handover into operational support.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- A good understanding of EMEA Banking industry and in particular Omni Channel Banking or a strong solutions architecture background with experience of Omni Channel Retail Solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong client facing skills
- Strong solution architecture experience
- Good knowledge of either Savings or Loans processes
- Willingness to travel extensively in the UK and wider EMEA regions
- Significant integration experience

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- TOGAF certified
- .NET/Microsoft technical skills
