Enham Trust are pleased to be inviting applications for a Commercial Director, this new role will form an important part of the Senior Leadership Team, with an exciting remit covering our four Social Enterprises, with a turnover in excess of GBP2.5M per year and our newly formed Income Generation Team, which includes Fundraising, Business Development, Marketing and Communications.

Joining the Trust at a pivotal time you have the proven business acumen and strategic vision needed to lead these essential parts of the charity through their next stages of growth. You are commercially astute and are able to play an active leadership role as one of our talented and developing Senior Team. You will contribute to the broader strategic management debate, and play a key part in the overall development and implementation of the strategic plans of the Trust.

A strategic operator you are as comfortable in front of a Board of Trustees as you are with front line staff and customers.

Remit Overview

Social Enterprises:

  1. Enham 3PL has been providing businesses with professional and bespoke third party logistic services for over 14 years. Enham 3PL offer a full range of storage and fulfilment services from our centrally located warehouses in Andover, Hampshire.
  2. Mount Industries has been manufacturing quality and competitively priced furniture for over 40 years. With over 120 designs available in our range, we provide schools and businesses with a wide range of solutions to meet their requirements and are able to accept bespoke requests.
  3. Enham Trust's Gardening Service offers year round services to meet all gardening requirements whether that is landscaping, commercial gardening contracts, season gardening support and regular or once off garden maintenance.
  4. The Enham Trust Charity Shop is located within the village of Enham Alamein, and is a unique and vintage store complete with tea-room which sells second hand clothes, shoes, accessories, homeware, bric-a-brac, books, DVD's and collectables. The charity shop contributes to the Trust's fundraising strategy.

Income Generation:

Enham Trusts Income Generation Department encompasses Business Development, Marketing and Communications and Fundraising. The department is responsible for driving an engagement and development strategy, increasing the reach of the charity to new followers, supporters, commissioners and donors; and delivering and achieving a fundraising strategy, focussing on income streams such as trusts and foundations, events, corporate donations, major donors, individual giving and legacies. The department is also responsible for supporting the development and achievement of Business Plans including scoping projects and proposals and managing Tender applications.
