Workshop Manager for small plastics engineering company.
We are an established company of over 30 years with a total staff of 11.
Our ethos is to enjoy coming to work whilst providing our customers with a service and quality that is hard for our competitors to rival. Our scope of expertise is considerable and our volumes range from proto-typing/pre-production to low volume production. We have an interesting spectrum of work and customer. Full time employment based on a 40 hour week 7am till 3.30pm.
We operate both manual and CNC routers, mills and lathe, 4 vacuum formers, have 3D capability complementing our laser etching and cutting service.
Previous supervisory experience required
Able to give clear instructions/direction
Works well on own initiative as well as in a team
3 Axis CNC mill programming/setting
Manual milling/Turning experience
Good hand skills
Computer literate
CAD/CAM experience useful but not essential
Vacuum forming experience useful but not essential
Knowledge of plastics useful but not essential
Flexible, adaptive and willing to learn new skills
