Sales Executive, Midlands (Home Based)

This company is a leading designer and manufacturer of engineered timber products. Operating from seven sites around the UK, its Timber Engineering business designs and manufactures Roof Trusses and Engineered Floors.

The role
Due to business growth they are looking for a Sales Executive to drive sales in the Midlands. This role is key to building their customer base and to enable us to develop relationships with Merchant customers and Local/Regional businesses within the area. This is a home based role although travel to other sites will be necessary.

Who are they looking for?
As the ideal Sales Executive you will have the ability to generate enquiries from new and existing customers, and be able to liaise with different departments and develop great relationships. You will also possess strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook and be results orientated and commission-driven. You will have a strong focus on positive customer service and have the ability to deliver a high level of service at all times. It is desirable that you will have previous experience within the building trade, particularly working in a merchant environment and that you will live within 30 miles of their Long Crendon site (HP18).

Salary pending on experience.

Key Duties of a Sales Executive
- Interpret customer requirements and follow-through the quote process.
- Liaise with customers and provide a knowledgeable service both in the office and during site visits.
- Give advice and feedback to assist in the development and improvement of products and customer relations in order to maximise service, profitability and efficiency.
