We are working with a large construction material provider, who sit within a large PLC. Due to growth and new opportunities we now need to appoint an additional key internal sales person. Our client requires a highly professional individual who is driven and can achieve sales. The company are a specialist manufacturer of key bespoke solutions within the construction and build arena. This opportunity requires the successful individual to perform the following tasks;
Developing new and existing accounts and business.
Tracking the customer journey and assisting with all forms of resolution.
Reporting to the sales manager.
Looking at suppliers and customers and maintaining profit and margins.
Up-selling on key items.
Quoting for projects.
Being involved from the ground up on large multi-million pound projects.
Key account duties.
Build rapport with key contacts.
Speak with contract managers, surveyors, site managers.
Be-able to quote and use IT systems accurately.
Must possess excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Ideally our client would like to speak with candidates from the build and construction division, although they are open to speak with strong sales and account manager individuals from a range of different industries, as full product training will be offered.
The working week is Monday - Friday 08.30am - 5.00pm.
