Senior Lecturer and Development Manager in partnership with John Moore

The purpose of this academic role is to lead the development of the John Moores Painting Prize (JMPP) competition, exhibition and archive in collaboration with the John Moores Liverpool Exhibition Trust (JMLET), the National Museums Liverpool (NML) and Shanghai University.

Located within the School of Art & Design at Liverpool John Moores University, you will report to the Professor of Exhibition Studies. You will draw upon your critical interest in contemporary British painting together with your professional experience in arts management to raise the profile of the JMPP and devise a programme of academic engagement and study to advance the profile of the Prize internationally. You will also contribute to the research, organisation and running of the Exhibition Research Lab in the school's ART LABS Research Centre.

You will be an employee of Liverpool John Moores University and guided by the LJMU strategic framework. Additionally, the role will be informed by the principles and guidance of the John Moores Liverpool Exhibition Trust (JMLET) as the patrons of the Prize.
