Post Ref: FL067 (NCC4153) To Cover Maternity up to 1 year
Applications are invited from qualified Solicitors for the above mentioned posts in the Legal Section. You will form part of a team providing legal advice and litigation services covering Social Services and Education work. The posts are full time and you will be required to work 37 hours per week.
You will be required to conduct childcare cases and related proceedings on behalf of the Council in the Magistrates', Family Proceedings and County Courts. You will also be expected to clerk School Admission and Exclusion appeals and to provide legal advice to Client Departments.
You must be entitled to hold a Practising Certificate and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Advocacy experience, although not essential would be an advantage.
