Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible shift pattern
Salary: GBP20k plus commission OTE GBP25,500

About the role:
As a Visiting Officer for TV licensing your role will be to visit selected residential addresses to maintain an effective deterrent against evasion of the licence fee.
You will enforce legislation by taking statements under caution where appropriate and maximise sales revenue for the BBC.
Hours are 37.5 per week and there is a flexible shift pattern, so you can take ownership of the hours that you work and fit them round other commitments. They do ask you to work 19 hours per week between 4pm - 9pm weekdays or anytime at the weekend. This is so that you are visiting during the times that most people are at home.
About you:
You must be able to complete paperwork legibly and have a desire to hit set targets, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with some conflict and difficult customers with a firm but fair approach.
You must have a car that you can use for work and your mileage will be reimbursed at 45p per mile.
You may have experience of the following: Field Visiting Officer, Customer Service, Conflict Resolution, Enforcement Officer, Traffic Warden, Security Guard, Debt Collector, Prison Officer, Police Officer, Debt Collection, Visiting Officer, Prison Guard, etc.
