Due to continued branch expansion, we are looking to recruit a full time Purchase Ledger Assistant for our busy department, based at our prestigious Head Office in Polegate, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a fast-growing renowned Builders Merchant.

Purchase Ledger Assistant Responsibilities:

In this role, you will administer the purchase ledger and ensure that Parker Building Supplies outward payments are made in accordance with the appropriate timescales and within relevant payment terms. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Register invoices, credits and overheads onto the internal Kerridge system.
  • Reconcile supplier statements.
  • Run direct invoices reports.
  • Match and clear credits to the invoices they relate to.
  • Manage supplier accounts.

 

The ideal Purchase Ledger Assistant:

The ideal Purchase Ledger Assistant will have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and have good communication skills, must be friendly, outgoing, self-motivated and must be able to work well within a team.

Preferred experience in processing invoices and making payments, however full training will be given to the right candidate.
