About the Team: The Network Operation Centres purpose is to react to issues quickly, and minimise the impact to our customers. We proactively drive improvements in our services, with customer experience at the heart of everything we do. Delivering fantastic services is crucial to O2. Your Role: The Network Operation Centre is at the heart of Service Operations and within that, the function of the SPMC Duty Manager is to ensure the support of the O2 network and to ensure that there is minimum impact to our customers, allowing us to deliver a great service experience 24x7. . Responsibilities: -To ensure that O2s Radio for 2G, 3G, 4G and the core network is maintained with integrity and maximum availability on sites and services -To support the Head of NOC and other Senior Management in the performance of their roles within Network Operations -To work, support and lead the NOC operational team to ensure that all related faults, change and monitoring responsibilities are discharged in accordance with specified procedures, targets and measures -Support the NOC team in the development of their skills through coaching and appropriate training initiatives -To Identify, support, develop and lead on new initiatives being introduced into work practices -To ensure that all H&S under the Dynamic Agreement with Ericsson and their Sub-Contractors is carried out correctly Skills & experience: -Excellent verbal and analytical skills with a commercial instinct and a financial bias -Excellent business acumen to ensure understanding/interpretation of business strategies -Drive and flexibility in delivering the agreed objectives of the role -A strong ethic of maintaining confidentiality and using discretion is a prerequisite -Ability to approach problems innovatively with a resolution focus -Understanding of Network/service architecture -Strong negotiation & facilitation skills -Analytical thinking -Business Process Modelling -Leadership skills Salary and benefits: We are looking to pay a competitive salary (depending on experience) for this position, and in addition we have some great benefits that could include a bonus, life cover, health care, holiday entitlement and lots of flexible benefits too.
