The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Business Operations Support Manager is responsible for continuous improvement of the GSC processes in accordance with established global process management standards.Client Details A global telecoms brand operating in over 200 countries Description This role is also responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and managing process improvement projects. Additionally, the role is responsible for contributing to the management of and managing some process mapping, documentation and training. It also contributes to transversal improvement of the Delivery end-to-end process incorporating the FOIS, Service Operations and Service Transition processes. Within the Customer Service & Operations (CS&O) organization, Field Operations and Integration Services (FOIS) is a component of the global delivery process domain. It contributes to the company/ Brand mission by managing Field Service activities, Global Supply Chain and Carrier & Vendor Management in all countries where the company delivers service to its customers. Global Supply Chain has a major role to play to optimise the global planning, purchasing, delivery and lifecycle of the equipment requirements for all business units and customers in both the "Build" and "Run" processes, driving efficiency and cost optimisation. Profile Skill Profile * Identify and qualify areas for process improvement working with the Head of GSC and the CSO delegate global process owners. * Management support, business analysis and business case development. * Manage process improvement programs/projects to deliver improvements in accordance with objectives and targets defined and agreed with project stakeholders, and implement quality measures to track and ensure sustainable improvement. * Contribute to and manage some process mapping, documentation and training activity. * Contribute to transversal improvement of the Delivery end-to-end process covering the FOIS, Service Operations and Service Transition processes. * Excellent knowledge and experience of Process Management and Methodology, including global standards, methodology and formality for process mapping; process review and update; process documentation and management; process training and communication. * Excellent knowledge and experience of Process Continuous Improvement methodology including Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, quality measures. * Strong experience of process mapping facilitation. * Ability to identify process gaps and areas that need improvement. * Ability to persuade stakeholders at all levels of the need for and the benefits from process improvement and change. * Excellent project management skills, including transversal project management. * Data analysis, manipulation and presentation of results. * Excellent coordination and networking (relationships) capabilities * Able to take initiatives and be self-motivated but also must be a team player * Fast learner and has the aptitude and attitude to learn * Outstanding communicator and motivator with strong organizational skills and judgment * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Fluent English oral and written. Minimum of 6 years work experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the Telecoms environment. * Minimum of 5 years related work experience in Process Management. * Knowledge of operational excellence concepts and tools, such as value stream mapping, business process redesign, lean, six sigma, modelling and simulation, cycle time reduction. * Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen certification preferred. * Minimum of 5 years related work experience in Project Management * Project Management certification preferred. * Proven record of business change implementations and results. * Has worked in an international multi-cultural environment. * Has worked in a matrix managed structure. * Has worked in remote managed structure and as part of international virtual teams.
