Trainee Kitchen Designer / Showroom Assistant
LOCATION: Ribble Valley Showroom, Read, Lancashire
JOB TITLE: Trainee Kitchen Designer / Showroom Assistant
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP14,000 - GBP17,000 dependant on experience
WORKING HOURS: 6 days a week (including 1 weekend shift a week) 9 - 5.30pm
(Under 18's legally can only work 5 days a week)
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a high end kitchen design company based in Lancashire. The company design and sell the German kitchens for their customers by tailoring all of their needs. They are currently looking for a Trainee Kitchen Designer / Showroom Assistant to join their team on a full time basis.
THE ROLE: As a Trainee Kitchen Designer / Showroom Assistant you will be helping out with the 3D visuals and plans on the Kitchen CAD software. You will also be helping with general office tasks and administration.
Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Kitchen Designer / Showroom Assistant to include:-
• Offer drinks to clients whilst they wait
• Talk to customers whilst they wait for qualified designers to become available
• Help back office with the 3D visuals
• Go out to customers houses to help measure
THE CANDIDATE: You will need to be a well presented individual who has interest in design and has a great eye for detail. Ideally you will have experience with Kitchen CAD software however full training will be given on employment. It is also highly advantageous that you have a qualification in design.
Key experience essential for the Trainee Kitchen Designer / Showroom Assistant role:
• Computer literate
• Willing to learn
• Live within a commutable distance to Read, Lancashire
