Domiciliary Care Manager - Borehamwood- GBP30-36k per annum + generous incentive package

Our quality focused client is now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Domiciliary Care Manager to manage a new branch in the Borehamwood area. This is an exciting opportunity to join this award winning national 'premium care provider as they continue to expand.

You will need to have achieved your level 5 or NVQ 4 or RMA or equivalent, have a good solid background within the Domiciliary care sector, have excellent knowledge of the CQC regs and experience of CQC inspections. Strong leadership skills are required along with a professional confident approach to the job.

This exciting opportunity is a brand new branch where you will oversee the 'start up of the business while being well supported by the MD and owner of the business. You will need good knowledge of the area and have good working relationships with care managers, NHS services, external agencies etc. My client is looking for a cheerful, approachable, flexible caring manager who has an enthusiastic, positive approach who is a supportive and passionate about delivering a high quality care service for the local community.

Our client will be delivering services to vulnerable people, including elderly care and support, adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities along with other care services.

Experience with planning care staff weekly rotas is necessary, carrying out risk assessments, reviews, recruitment and selection, staff supervisions and staff appraisals, meeting new service users and matching care givers to each service user ensuring all staff are well trained and communicated with at all times. This is a very varied highly rewarding role and you will be well rewarded as you develop the business taking on new care packages and increasing current packages. Experience with on call duties is also necessary as there will be some out of hours working initially. Good IT skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal is essential and you will also need to be well organised and highly motivated.
