Job Description LOCATION: Leeds, West Yorkshire - Yorkshire & Humber
JOB TITLE: Independent Director
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP6,000 per annum (gross of NI and Tax) plus expenses
WORKING HOURS: 1 to 2 days per month
THE ROLE / COMPANY: Our clientbrings together two dynamic and successful subsidiaries engaged in social housing; 1 being a a highly successful social housing procurement services provider and the other enables futures by providing an innovative training and apprenticeships service in Leeds, West Yorkshire - and throughout the Yorkshire & Humber areas.
With a combined order book exceeding GBP50m and exciting plans to double in size over the
next phase of its strategic plan, our client is seeking 3 experienced Independent Directors to support the organisation through this period of transition and growth.
THE CANDIDATE:
As a Independent Director you will be a senior professional with Board experience, you will thrive on helping people to maximise their potential, helping to bring together different stakeholders and ensuring good governance and delivery. The successful candidates will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a passion for people, high levels of energy and an interest in delivering social value.
The ideal Independent Director will be a high-profile individual in either the finance, legal, human resources, construction or property sectors, and be adept at developing and building relationships at high levels as well as willing to utilise your extensive networks to act as an ambassador for the company and its subsidiaries.
